Beckoner is the Los Angeles alt-metal project of Nick “Beckoner” Madonna. It started in 2016 as a small side project, grew into a deathcore four-piece, and is now Nick’s solo project. He writes, plays and produces every note himself and fronts the band live. The sound pairs heavy, Drop-D riffs with big melodic hooks, drawing on Alice in Chains and modern metalcore like Architects and Northlane. Beckoner has played LA’s Whisky a Go Go and the Viper Room and shared bills with Suicide Silence and Oceano. Shadow Self, the 12th Beckoner album, is out everywhere Oct 30, 2026. All music is fully one-stop: Nick owns the masters and publishing, and every track is sample-free and human-performed.
